Slip On Flange – Product Details

Slip-on flanges slide over the pipe OD and are fillet welded inside and outside. Lower cost and easier alignment than weld neck; suitable for moderate pressure service (max 300# class). The double fillet weld is slightly weaker than the weld neck taper hub.

Applicable Standards: ASME B16.5, EN 1092-1 Type 11

Manufacturing Process: Forged ring with bore 1.5–3 mm larger than pipe OD; two fillet welds per installation.

Heat Treatment: Stress relieve ERW at ≥ 540 °C or normalise; seamless as-rolled.
